A super huge thanx to Cedric Tissieres from ophcrack for helping me to get Qt onto slitaz, finally gns3 is available on dynataz, ofcourse it is a preview version and based on feedback will add whatever changes asked. have added a script to automount your ntfs drives which will be available in the /mnt/dev directory, the default user is gns , with no password, gns3 is configure to run under this user.

not that i liked it the first time i heard it, but vh1 keeps playing it every morning and i found myself humming along today. for your pleasure if you have never heard this song before. I think he just sat in front of his webcam and did the video himself. i actually love the video too.

Well i have already tested this and it works, what im suggesting here is that i will be offering up remote dynamips services so you can run all your .net files directly on my server . This way you can access your labs with whatever low spec hardware you have, all you need is a internet connection.

i might need to charge for this a minimum amount , just to pay my costs for the hardware but if you guys have any idea as to how i can give this out for free, id like to know , as i would like to give it out for free. would a donation box suffice? if more people start coming in for this i would need to add more hardware. no matter what, i intend to start this next month and keep it free for two months or so, after that, if things are good enough i’ll continue or i’ll start charging for the services or i’ll just shut the whole thing down.

i really would like your feedback on this. So if any of your guys are reading this please comment.

I just have too much work nowadays, lot of work on testing CUCM, which i find extremely boring, i really have no interest in voice based work but i cant help it, i got pushed into it by my over excited boss. ( phb) .

Anyways after a long time, yesterday i made a package for slitaz, fltk2 and dillo , which was pretty cool. dillo package size was 277 kb and fltk2 came in 527 kb . you can get them in http://www.in2dwok.com/downloads section.  one month ago i started something called the warrior diet. well almost the warrior diet coz it was just based on one post here http://fitnessblackbook.com/dieting_for_fat_loss/lose-body-fat-by-eating-just-one-meal-per-day/ , what happened is that in 2 weeks i lost 3 kilos , happy by my ability to hold the diet for 2 weeks, i decided to go ahead and quit smoking too, so im a one and a half week non-smoker now and a week back i started the hundered pushups challenge based on this http://hundredpushups.com/ i completed day 3 of the first week in the second column and now my second week starts tommorrow. last month has been good. i managed to learn quite a bit of ruby and the service provider studies and slowly moving ahead. train keeps on rollin…

Yup , its my birthday, and i have now completed 29 years of age, feel old.  hehe , not really , first thoughts in the morning were, wtf have i been doing all my life, not accomplished anything, then i saw my wife and felt relaxed again, marrying was the best thing i have done in my life and im not looking out to top that , so went back to sleep for another half an hour till my mom woke me up , wished me and gifted me a 3 series Tintin comic book, wo!, that was something , i had even forgotten that  i used to read comics, really brought back a lot of good memories of the days when i would stalk all second hand book shops and the library in my building called keith’s book shack,  man, that keith’s book shack was the primary source of my education, haha, that Uncle ( owner of the book shack, in india everyone elder to you is a uncle, im called uncle nowadays) would grumble as i would sit in his own shop and read all his comics without paying for them, but he would never stop me , nor did his children who would relieve him during the afternoons and late evenings . so many summer afternoons spent there, phantom, mandrake the magician , flash gordon, mad comics, tintin, asterix,war and western comics,mandy comics, ( ya i used to read those too), enid blyton, hardy boys, nancy drew, famous five, secret seven and then on to . sidney sheldon, ken follet and my long time favourite , the great robert ludlum. nowadays i read rarely the last four novels were all Salman Rushdie ones . He pretty much is my second favourite author after Joseph Heller, Oh, Joseph Heller , Catch -22 saved my life, i learnt to laugh at myself because of that book , second favourite book would be God knows.Oh Man the younger days when all i would do  was watch star world on T.V ( simpsons, titus, frasier, futurama are my all time favourite shows) and read books and comics, then i joined college and got corrupted with booze and smokes and rock shows and a general shoot myself in the foot attitude, but everything i guess was worth it .

No work on the dynataz frontend at all, on the slitaz frontend, added the qt libraries in the slitaz repositories and a few more programs, gns3 comes up fine but i cant see any graphics. Im just too busy in my actual office work which itself is not bad, wrote a shell script to backup cisco routers having a snmp rw string to folders with the company name and location, i am continuing now on it as i have to show a web interface for the same, which i intend to do with awk and bash, i have downloaded awkiawki and nanoblogger plus im reading upon the networking with awk manual to get a hang of  it, also i wrote a few scripts in bash which would login to a router and get its version info, cut out the parts we dont need and send it to a text file, another script which which will troubleshoot a link which is down within a mpls vrf, now this is very interesting. if i complete it , its going to be of  tremendous use within my company, Once all this over, ill be back to dynataz and maybe ….just a teeny weeny maybe….. a attempt at the ccie service provider qual.

Real Player in CentOS
Download the Real player bin file from “http://www.real.com/linux”
Then Just save it in your home directory
Now change the permission level to executable “chmod +x RealPlayer10GOLD.bin”
Wait one thing is pending ok now you need to install an dependency package and believe me its going to be
tough time Ha..Ha..Ha.. just kidding ok you just need to do “yum install libstdc++.so.5″
Now boom just execute this and you begin your Installation of Real Player”./RealPlayer10GOLD.bin”
Just follow the instructions always give yes as the answer to every question you get and i make sure you
will be done with it with in less then two minutes minutes

Finally got GNS3 working on my Slitaz box. Now to PyInstaller.
